The Heartland Middle School volleyball team will host a special event on September 27 to raise funds for breast cancer research. Students will be encouraged to wear PINK to school in support of Heartland’s Volleyball team and their effort to raise funds for cancer research. The PINK OUT continues as the Thunderhawks take on Mustang North at 5 and 6pm in the Heartland Gym. During the game there will be snacks to purchase, items for raffle and a “Serve-A-Thon” for prizes. All proceeds benefit Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer.
“We are honored to partner with the Heartland Middle School’s volleyball team to raise funds for breast cancer research,” says Lynda Houk, executive director of the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer. “The amazing support we receive from our family of committed partners is improving and prolonging lives through the research we support. “
