Today, fifth grade students from different schools visited Heartland to get an idea of what middle school will be like. Mr. Galloway spoke to the soon-to-be 6th graders and welcomed them to Heartland Middle School. The whole school came together to welcome these kids hoping to make Heartland their home.

Many clubs and groups performed for the future Thunderhawks. Band performed some wonderful songs and orchestra also performed some very lovely pieces. TSA showed off their club by presenting an amazing robot they created.  Mulan did an awesome job with their performance, as well as Show Choir.

Kaleb Jeffries said “I liked how the assembly was calm and it really made me want to go to middle school.” This was an experience for all.
